The Genetic Resources Unit at
IGER is primarily concerned with the
collection, storage, characterisation
and documentation
of temperate forage grasses and legumes.
This site provides information on our germplasm collections and general presentations of the Units activities.
We are also responsible for the
European Central Crop Databases for Lolium and Trifolium repens
which may be accessed from these pages.
In January 2001 we started a new EU-funded project ICONFORS
on optimizing seed multiplication methodologies for European forage
genebanks. |
